Pulled the trigger on a Mühle Rocca w/birch handle. Hoping to have it this coming week. What are everyone’s  thoughts on the razor? I feel like it gets overlooked by some.

I bought a birch handle Rocca because I liked the looks and because Muhle is a good brand.  I haven't used my Rocca in a while, but reviewing my notes for a dozen shaves shows a roughly equal mix of DFS and BBS shaves with little or no blood and irritation.  This confirms my recollection that the Rocca is a fine razor - not wildly efficient, but smooth and efficient enough, and with acceptable balance and accecptably precise machining.

Enjoy your Rocca!

The birch handle is what did it for me. Thank you for your feedback. Razor should be arriving any day and will definitely be putting it to work once it does.

I’ve always loved the look of the birch handle too, it’s just so unique and cool looking. I’ll hopefully grab one at some point.

Same. I love the look of it and it also has a nice feel in the hand. I was pleasantly surprised that it shaves great too so it has become one of my favorite razors.
