Vintage Shaver

I have been having trouble finding reasonably priced wooden shaving bowls in which to keep soap pucks, so, inspired by posts about using candy jars, I decided to branch out a little. A couple vintage trinket boxes are on the way, and they appear to be just the right size. If I decide I don't like them for storing soap, my wife can use them for trinkets.

To get best performance you'll have to use Muddy Waters. I know, I know... couldn't resist. Enjoy!

I am awaiting some Ralph Lauren Polo (Green) splash aftershave.  I have never used it, but because I like his Safari aftershave so much, I just had to try the Polo.

John, that was a scent I used often in the mid 1970s and used to get quite a few compliments. I wonder what I'd think of it now.
