Bought something relatively "unseen".
Will be sent a thick pewter bowl, made in Sheffield, as the one in the pictures below - and also a NIB "Merkur razor with teeth" (the person selling it is not a razor-person).
Haven't seen a photo of the razor..should arrive this week and I'm curious as to what I will get.
For $25 incl. shipping it may turn out ok....

Beautiful brush!

You're going to "make" me buy a new brush!  I've already been to the website, so I'm partway there.  It looks like Brad Sears makes some quality brushes.

Thanks!  Brad us a great guy to work with and his brushes are top notch.  I gave three others that are amazingly soft and with nice backbone.

You're pushing me closer to pulling the trigger, Hector(hrfdez).  The qualities you are describing are exactly what I'm looking for!  Soft with nice backbone.  Perfect!  Are all three of your Brad Sears brushes with the Manchurian knot?

I will be very interested to hear your thoughts on this one. I don't have it, but I'm still on the fence about whether to acquire it.

Blade4vor I'll get on that as soon as I receive the cream. I've been comparing/reviewing quite a few high end soaps/creams and I'm curious how this one will rank.

Not shaving related but I blame @ChiefShaver over on TSD for enabling me to get a Slow Watch Smile
After going back and forth..and back again on what watch and strap combination I wanted...I finally settled on the "Jo 17".
Funny thing is that's the very first combo that I liked..I guess trust your gut.
I like the combination of stainless steel casing and the thicker, more 'rugged' strap.
If I really like the watch I can always get a second strap as well Smile

Should arrive already tomorrow.
