A souvenir spoon with the famous Spruce Good in Long Beach, California, where I grew up, for scooping shaving cream. I always have admired the airplane's bizarreness.

I had a very underwhelming experience using a Semouge 620 years ago, so unimpressive that I haven't tried another boar brush since. Anyway, after doing some research, a few days ago I placed an order for the Jade Omega 011842 from Connaught. Those Omegas break in quickly with just daily use for a few weeks while Semouges take at least a few months in my experience. Especially the 620.

I think I saw something either here on DFS or a Mantic video where you stick the brush in a glass of cold water in the refrigerator for a day then shake it out and towel strop it for a while and put it back in for another day and do the same thing. I tried it with a new Semogue OC Taj resin boar and also a model 620 and it worked pretty well especially on the OC which is a better grade of bristle than the 620.(06-01-2020, 06:17 AM)JoeLr Wrote: It's actually kinda silly for me to post this now, because it'll likely be a month before I receive it, but I decided to give boar another shot.
