The pewter scuttle looks good! I prefer that to a lot of the other scuttles that are decorated with all sorts of things. Guess I'm utilitarian.

Lots of things winging their way to me at the moment:
200 Voskhod blades
100 Personna Platinum blades
2 tubs of B&M unscented and 1 tub of Chiseled Face Trade Winds ( Mens Essentials Canada had a sale on)
1 puck of Tabac
A couple different samples.

The intention of all these purchases was to save on shipping/take advantage of sales/get things before the CAD goes any lower but in all honesty, there's a certain adrenaline rush in pushing the "Purchase" button that I need to tamp down on.

And, hey, it's made in Sheffield so it can't be all bad Smile

Seems to be my weekend of scuttles....this one a tad older than the Sheffield one. It's from around 1914 (engraved 9/1/14) and made by "Steward Dawson" in England.

Looks like it's in pretty good condition for its age and should clean up rather well before I put it back in use Smile

Second photo shows the scale a bit - it's smaller than what the first picture may have you believe.

From Maggard's I purchased the 22mm. Synthetic Shaving Brush withe the black handle, and a two ounce container of Dr. John's The Green Monster Shaving Soap. Tracking yesterday showed that they were in Portland yesterday so I should recieve them this afternoon.

Waiting on this little, vintage wood & metal shaving brush. It was advertised in a lot but when it didn't sell the seller was kind enough to let me buy just this brush. Smile

Waiting on a V2 OC head from Maggards. I am going to pair it with an Apollo stainless handle I have lying around.
