The knot seems good enough to still use but will see when it gets here.
The writing on it isn't completely legible but I can make out;
One one side: Mayfair, Best Badger, Sterilized.
On the other: Made in England - and then two rows of text I can't quite make out - followed by a <C> sign.
I'm guessing it's a Vulfix brush re-branded to some retailer's store but if anyone can positively identify it I'd love to learn.

Based off of the last one it looks like
Made in England
For
..... Co
symbol
Im going to keep looking for the symbol. No Idea what it means but im curious and bored at work LOL
Thanks
The <C> symbol I got explained to me as per below:
"the diamond with the 'C' is a government compliance stamp used on consumer goods during WWII, to ensure/mark that (IIRC) a special tax was paid because the brush (or other item) used materials that were deemed vital to the war effort."

I'm currently waiting on a Schick Injector (my first!) type E2 I nabbed from a very well-known auction site. My injector blades already arrived, and I'm very eager to see what the injector thing is all about.
I ordered Purple Grapefruit and Waterlyptus from Catie's Bubbles. I also have Reef Point Submariner, Dr. Jon's Hydra, some Mickey Lee and St. James samples, and several more blade tucks on the way from Maggard's. The Reef Point and Dr. Jon's are both "blind buys" based on seeing a lot of good word on the forums and crossing my fingers that the scents work for me.

David : DE shaving since Nov 2014. Nowadays giving in to the single-edge siren call.

Here's a quick snap:
I thought previously I had seen the most beautiful brush Peter ever made. I am mistaken after seeing this one. Absolutely stunning.

Thanks Gareth although of course all credit goes to Peter at Wolf Whiskers and his creative sense. The brush is by far my favorite of his work!
