The Material - bog oak and sterling silver

Brand new in the series and also supremely elegant: EDITION No. 3. These products are completely new – and yet they tell of a long­ distant past: They are made of the finest bog oak, an oak wood which rested airtight in bogs, swamps or on river banks for millennia, thereby acquiring a beautiful dark hue. The wood is refined with sterling silver, so that the fine indentations on its surface acquire a silvery gleam. Finally, the surface of these products is sealed in a high­gloss finish – the brush and razor are now not only beautiful, but also waterproof.

Without chrome the world would forfeit a lot of its lustre. Unfortunately the brush is the regular Mühle 23 mm silvertip. Not quite up my alley, but I'm sure it's a great brush for the right person

The wood finish is treated, so it's 100% waterproof. The steel has small parts of silver inlay and is all stainless.

Have some good stuff coming tomorrow. Been eyeing a couple of these for awhile so excited to give them a try!

Vintage Houbigant Sportsman aftershave, which I've never used.

I ordered a Zenith Best Badger in Kotibe wood handle on Friday morning. Surprise of all suprises, it is actually out for delivery today! It was originally slated for delivery on Friday 11/18. Then it was bumped to Wednesday 11/16. This morning I got a text that the date was again changed to tomorrow, 11/15. Shortly after that I received a text informing me that it was accepted at my local post office, sorting was complete, and it was out for delivery!
