What did you hone today?

I ran this 6/8 Aust through a full Nagura progression on the no name no pedigree JNAT base stone, and then I finished on the baby Ancient Ocean Jasper for 12 light as can be laps under water.  The HHT was beautiful, as was the crisp and clear mirror on the bevel near the edge!

I am really looking forward to tomorrow’s shave!

Grelot 14 yesterday on the Brick (also a few Wackers on a Shobudani)!

New Kiita with actual Tomo Nagura that broke off of the left corner somewhere along the way!

The resultant shave was absolutely superb!

So I received this stone and tomo yesterday, and I wanted to run a very special razor through a full progression on it.  It was fantastic…very easy to lose oneself in the process!

Then I picked the finest hair I could find of the brush, and the HHT was perfection.  I am very grateful to have acquired a stone like this, and look forward to many years of use!

Shave test later this weekend I suspect!
