Pils came up on this list a number of times for people and for me it was a beautiful razor that convinced me it was great, but it really wasn't. It looks better than it shaves IMO. I really wanted to be great, thought at one point it was, but finally I realized I was more enamored with the beauty of the razor than the shave.

This was my experience as well, so much so, that I had two of them.

I share your experience. I had one, sold it, then saw another for a great price and got it again. I later sold it.
