Taylor Swift?  Say what? Lol....I actually met her last year in Nashville at the NAAM convention.  She is pretty nice, I just don't like her music.  But she got me a five minute jam session with Kenny Wayne ShepherdHappy2

I like your choices there BadDad.  I'm a guitar player, mostly Blues, and I'm very familiar with all the cats you listed.
I can always get down to "Shake It Off".
I don't care who you are, that song is catchy

I'm a guitar player, myself. Also a Bluesman. And a jam session with Kenny Wayne Shepherd would be simply amazing. I watched a live video of him playing Ledbetter Heights...WOW! Almost as good as watching SRV play Little Wing...almost...

Smokin' Joe Bonamassa is from my hometown area...I had several opportunities to watch him play as he was growing up in upstate NY, developing into the powerhouse he is today...

Cool! I saw JB at the Fox here in Atlanta a couple of years ago. His acoustic session was awesome.

Kenny was pretty cool, he smacked his Strat and I smacked my Les Paul, lol.....I spend lots of time in Nashville. My instructor is from there and I'm good friends with George Gruhn, so I'm always looking and buying vintage gear.

Btw,  BadDad,  Chris,  I also purchased a new strop from TM,  lets see how big of an improvement that is over poor man's strop Big Grin.

There is no harm in enjoying a variety of music; those two are complete juxtapositions, but I don't see any reason to hide it.  Big Grin
I'm a fellow metal head and I really enjoy Taylor Swift.

Another metal head here, but I'm going to fess up. I took my wife to see Beyonce last night. And, I enjoyed it!

Would Julio Iglesias be considered a 'weakness'? Every time I hear that beautiful voice, especially, in Spanish! Big Grin

Julio was "The Man" when I was growing up. A date, a little Julio, and you figure out the rest.

Messing with Julio is like messing with David "The Hoff" HasslehoffHappy No Bueno!

You got that right, Hector. Don't these guys know that there is no music beyond Brahms, Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Tchaikovsky and all the rest of the composers of the great symphonies, opera and ballet? Lessee now, what was this thread about?
