Houbigant Fougère Royale aftershave. This is the very first fougere fragrance, created by Houbigant in 1882. Discontinued in the fifties, but relaunched in 1988. It was once again discontinued and revived once more in 2010. My aftershave is from the 1990s. The nose behind this fragrance is Paul Parquet. Top notes are lavender, clary sage and bergamot; middle notes are carnation, orchid, heliotrope, rose and geranium; base notes are tonka bean, musk, vanilla, oakmoss and coumarin. It is masculine, fresh, and spicy. One user said it reminds him of a rainy afternoon in Paris, a description I really like. It is soothing, and the scent lasts 2-3 hours.

Interested in the Sapone Di Paolo balms. How long would you say that the Agrume scent lasts after applying?
Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”
