Highway robbery IMO, specially if they have the wavy blade, which is no way to tell. Plenty of better cheaper razors out there.
I wasn't aware of that issue, all I know is people making lots of noise about them, I don't have one and never had one. So besides the fact that are no longer made, whats the big fuss when pinned down vs Rockwell,BB,Ikoin ATT etc etc etc?
Is the fuss because they are no longer made? that's it?!?!

I owned both versions and both of them had the wavy blade. Some people liked that, but for me was a major design flaw. Out the door they went. I actually gave them to my brothers.
That's the fuss IMO, they are no longer made, just as a Gillette British Aristocrat is no longer made and it is a better razor, lol....

Guess I got lucky with mine — I have the DLC from 2012, and the more DE-razors I have tried (classic & modern), the more I realize the Weber is my favorite. Now, SE-razors are a different story altogether…
Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

Indeed. Some people got lucky and got good production razors, others not so much.
