So I have been shopping around for a nice 3-Band Silvertip for quite sometime. I was in the market for a Savile Row, Shavemac, and some others from artisan brush makers.

I came across a 24mm West Coast Shaving 3-band silvertip on there website and I pulled the trigger on it for $55. I must say it is the best performing 3-Band I have! I have a Thater 4125 3-band as well as a 2-Band and it really out performs my Thaters. The flow through, softness, and face feel on the WCS brush is superb. I was unexpectedly surprised what a great performer this brush was compared to my expensive Thaters. My Thaters are big lather Hogs and the flow through just wasn’t up to my liking. If you guys are on a budget for a very good performing silvertip badger brush, I would suggest to give this brush a try.

Nice looking handle. How is the weight on it?

Those are nice brushes, especially if you pick one up when WCS has their brand on sale!
