maybe it was originally just a 24 hour ban until they had a chance to convene and figure out what to do with you.

They probably just wanted to take you out back and ......

Yeah , sounds more like it. I won't miss it or all the stuff Bullgoose tries to flog on it. When any of his hardware comes out all you have to do is give it a week and the BST'S are flooded with the stuff with folk trying to get rid of them Smile

Guys, I'm glad that Will was freely able to post here at DFS what happened to him with the brush and it is disheartening to see what happened on another site with the same post.   Frankly, I think it was 100% wrong but it is a different site with different rules and they may do as they choose on their site.  Many of us have had hard times at that site, as well as others, and, in some cases, no explanations were ever given.  However, let's just move on, please.  The original intent of this thread has absolutely nothing to do with the pros and cons of another site so let's get the discussion back on track.  Thanks.

Agreed, this post should be around to warn others of buying from Artesania Romera and I wouldn't like it to turn into a DFS v TSN debate.

I've been concerned about TSN for some time, approaching the B&B standard. Very sad.

Thanks for the warning. With the increasing popularity of our hobby, we are also seeing an increase in vendors who are more interested in taking money from our wallets than in providing a great product.

Spain is home to very honorable craftsmen; Vie-Long, SEYGUS, UFO and others. Spain has a shaving community represented by many forum members. The Spanish economy is, like so many hurting and appreciate international business. I would patronize those folks, let them know about your experience. I would contact the nearest Spanish consulate and ask if
there is a spanish version of the Better Business Bureau. In short, F with this guy, make him your hobby in spare moments of inactivity. Crush him utterly, hear the lamentations of his womenfolk, since he probably never knew who his father was.

I agree , I used a Spanish artisan by the name of Alfredo Hernandez for a Bloodwood Beehive and he was the complete opposite of Romera , replied to emails with emphatic detail and finality. His work and time keeping was above reproach so I in no way feel Gustavo represents anybody but himself and certainly not the Spanish people as a group. Unfortunately for the community I don't need to constantly bring up the ineptitude in Gustavo's work.

Just tonight I read on Facebook of a customer who should have received two identical 26mm Manchurian fan knots but received one acceptable knot the other was a 3 band as opposed to a 2 band , was a different size and colour. When this was posed to Gustavo he denied these obvious differences and didn't see any need to resolve the issue. Contemptuous customer service as usual. I only hope people realise before they have given this guy their money just what a risk you take when you do.
