Are you looking for water based or water soluble? Nowadays water based doesn't necessarily mean water soluble. Odouds and other home-brew companies make some great water based pomades that are not made with harsh chemicals so they are not water soluble like Layrite, Suavacito, Prospectors, etc. What have you tried so far so I can get an idea of what you are looking for?

Interesting you ask. I bought Mickey Lee Grand Havana Water Based Pomade thinking it would wash out like say water color paint brush, wrong. It was more waxy. Nonetheless it still washes out easy without residue. This is my first pomade and I really like it....$8 a tin too.
Very cool! They must have made some changes to it prior to official release... I got a sample of it in the mail with an order prior to its release; it was good but just did not work for me. The hold was not quite strong enough for my hair as I have a pretty high pomp when i do my hair, and it did not wash out easily at all (not really a big deal as I knew it was a "water based" rather than a "water soluble"). I will say the scent strength and the consistency of it was intriguing enough to make me consider getting their wax based since it has a stronger hold... I just haven't pulled the trigger yet... too many new soaps coming out, too many pomades in my collection that I rarely use (since odouds is my go to), and too big of an ar15 project taking up most of my fun money.

Just out of curiosity, are you looking to trade sample for sample or full jars?
I'm looking to trade shave soap for jars.
Not sure about O'Douds as I'm looking for stuff that washes out pretty easily but thanks for the suggestion.
