Vintage or New

New razors have no soul.

I will respectfully disagree, and wax philosophical as well! I am imparting some soul to my modern razors. In using them, caring for them, and enjoying them I believe I am imbibing them with some soul. 50 years from now, they will be vintage, and someone may look at my cherished Christopher Bradley that has a nice polish and patina, and say, "this one was used and enjoyed in its day."

In the future there won't be enough testosterone for "men" to have hair, so all the razors will be melted down. 


Those modern razors are stealing your soul, leaving you hollow and broken and confused.

I have well over 100 razors and any one of them could be used for the next year. But that's the beauty of variety....... I don't HAVE to pick just 1

In fact, it will most likely be used exclusively too.

I am currently using vintage for the month of April. I have many wonderful razors, vintage & modern. I go in cycles preferring one over another. But what I'm finding with using my vintage recently is there are some terrific razors in the vintage category & there are some terrific razors in the modern category. What we must also remember is there are some terrible razors in the vintage category & modern category, as well.

I have well over 100 razors and any one of them could be used for the next year. But that's the beauty of variety....... I don't HAVE to pick just 1
