I acquired this Vintage Cabinet at a junk show in Minneapolis.  It was painted red when purchased.  After some serious refinishing, it has become a suitable place for my humble brush rotation.  In pursuit of a more minimalistic life, I need to reduce to a rotation of seven. Yikes!

Thank you.

The accessories are from the "pre-plastic" era when goods were truly organic - metal, wood, glass. Celluloid was the precursor to modern plastic. It dates back to 1870.

On the lower shelf, in the back is a Rooney brush with a genuine bone handle.

Thats a pretty cool find - what did it cost? The door is made of quarter sawn white oak and some nice pieces too showing the rays nicely. The interior shelving and definitely the backing are a cheaper, later addition and look like plain sawn red oak. Still a pretty nice piece.

The cabinet is beautiful!
But the Rover, D3 and CH2 are outstanding!

If you reduce down to seven what are you going to do with that awesome cabinet? I cant wait to do something like this for my own collection.

Out of curiosity have you tried non-badger brushes and decided they were not for you or did you just make this display for your badger collection?

Awesome display, congrats on the find bud. And in your quest of minimalism I will take the Rooney off your hands LOL.
