I am so happy about the concern from grooming dept. I did receive it and it was like a body lotion. I have not used it waiting for it to thicken up? But the smell is great. Look forward to the replacement. Again love doing business with people that are concerned about there product. And GD is truly one of them, GD is top 5 in soap company's in my mind>

On a side note I just LOVE the [stolen] art work on the tub. LOVE IT.

I didn't fully understand the copyrights laws. I just canceled the order for the labels. I'll design new label today and send it out today.

You absolutely should be called out for it. If you don't understand how copyrights work you have no business using copyrighted works on your labels. Stick to public domain art or do what every other reputable soap brand does: pay for graphic design work. This stuff isn't free for anyone to use. People put their blood sweat and tears into this artwork for you to profit off of without their consent? No.

I don't mind to be called out. Sometime I learn by reading and experimenting and sometime I learn from my mistakes. I made a mistake and I'm fixing it.

The Chagall image is in the public domain in the US as the work was created and published prior to 1923. Created before 1917 it is also in the public domain in Europe.

I agree copyright needs to be looked at but it's not an issue here.

Author died in 1985. It's not 2055 yet so his work isn't in the public domain.

Edit IANAL but this wasn't created in the US, so I'm sure copyright law other than our own would apply to this. There's probably a number you can call to see if a piece is public domain yet or not.

The wait was definitely worth it. The Veritas loaded up real easy and paired with the pre-shave gave for a very slick and thick protective shave. Scent was more subdued when lathered but nonetheless very pleasant and soothing. I used the Razorock Big Bruce and had pretty much enough lather for my 3 passes. For me the croap easily pairs with some of my top tier soaps and creams.
