If the Blackbird Ti OC is a good indicator (I think it probably is), there’s not as much interest as you might guess. Btw, please add your request to our Product Suggestion Box. That’s where we compile and evaluate requests. You can find that in the footer and Contact page of our site.

I second this, but also understand the business side of things and making something work. Maybe someday Blackland will release a Ti open comb for the Vector, that will be a great day!!

There is a price point that works for one off's. The question is the customer who wants that one off willing to pay it?

Blackland Razors would you consider a run of Ti Vector OC baseplates if I organized a group buy of 10 or more?

I love the Vector Ti and find the weakness is that the perfectly compact head jams with hair over the course of each pass. If you could make an open comb baseplate with teeth as smooth as Wolfman's I think it would eliminate the sole weakness in the concept. Only key is the OC baseplate need be no more aggressive feeling than the SB and the teeth profile smooth to maintain the incredible perfection of the design for those with sensitive skin as well as those preferring an efficient shaver.

Let me know and will get it going. If needed, to assure R&D payback, we could prepay immediately before production so you indemnified against loss

I ordered the stainless steel OC plate this past weekend since I didn't know if/when the Ti OC plate would be available.

I think that’s a safe bet. We’re not talking about January here. 2024 production plans are being laid out now and this is a low priority so I think it’ll be a while longer.
