Travelling today my wife picked me up a valet auto strop in a nice metal box. My question is I don't even know where to start to find blades for it in Canada, not really worried about the strop will likely just use it to see how it shaves.

Senate515, if Feather is still producing these blades then they will work in an Auto-Strop razor.  Perhaps others here will know where to purchase them.

I read that the OneBlade guy is the exclusive distributor for those now and other US or North American shops aren't allowed to order them anymore from the manufacturer.

I think Phil said something along those lines at BullGoose.

Depending on which model of the Auto Strop you have will determine which blades will work without modification and which will need modification to fit the razor. Do you know which one you have?

Senate,

It would be a big help if you could post one or more photos.

It is very easy to get the wrong blade for those Valets.

What works for one may not be any good in another.
That 1914 could be the patent number, not the date it was manufactured.

Take my word. This band aid on my forefinger is not for decoration.

Check this excellent article for an identification aid.
