Saponie Di Paolo is SO underrated. The scent, and performance are 5-star. Can't believe this soap maker flys under the radar yet the soap soars above many of the tall poppy producers.

Lisa's Black Velvet, Amber & Tobacco, Tobacco & Bay and Gentlemans Lavender.  Black Velvet is a favorite  summer scent.  Florida Freeze is a great menthol too

I ordered somali rose and coconut oud - I resisted my AD urges to get every one of the scents that sounded appealing - figured I try it first then decide.  I got one in the premium line and the other in the normal line with bentonite and kaolin clay.

Thanks for the tip

I've been eyeing the Somali Rose for a while now, I'm just so content with Chypre Rose Concerto from Wholly Kaw and I try to avoid redundant scents. Like many soaps, Lisa's really opens up once lathered, I start picking up scents I didn't smell off the puck. I would say Tobacco & Bay or Black Velvet is her best scent depending on which day of the week it is. The biggest difference from the original line and the premium line is post shave. That's not to say the original is bad because it's not, I just wish the premium was firmer but it's a minor complaint. Hope you enjoy them!
Somali Rose is quite nice. I love Lisa's soaps and own quite a few of them. Absinthe is really nice for this season. I actually prefer her original formula but find both the original and the premium to work very well.

+1 and I just wish Paolo made a version in tallow. Shy

Must confess that I had no knowledge of it being a vegan or tallow. My initial attention was captured by the gorgeous scent. The lather, slickness, and post-shave all feel "tallowy" but as you point out its a vegan soap.

Sapone Di Paolo is one of my favorites. Oleo Soapworks and Jeeves of Hudson Street are not mentioned often but are really great performers as well.

Regardless of it being a vegan soap, it is still excellent. I just prefer tallow-based soaps as I find the lather to be denser and creamier, subjectively speaking. Shy
