Tuesday B&M 42 fun

I’m a huge fan of Barrister & Mann’s 42 products as well as the Douglas Adams book The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I, therefore, wish to designate tomorrow and all subsequent Tuesday’s “42sday”! I will be using 42 soap, after shave splash and EDT; should you be a 42 fan I encourage you to join me in the first ever 42’sday celebration.

I am a HUGE fan of the 5-book trilogy, but I have not yet been able to get my hands on the soap/splash set, or I would definitely participate.

Now is also a good opportunity to tell you I have long enjoyed reading your signature...

Side note--when my ceiling started raining and my living room flooded a month ago, my collection of Douglass Adams books were all ruined. I had all 5 books, and all 5 were positively ruined beyond salvage by the water...

Chris, I'm sorry to hear that books of any kind were damaged when your roof leaked! That you lost your Douglas Adams' books to the water is just tragic!

Yes, Chris, although in general things turned out well in the end (after the flooding), that is sad news, indeed.

Dan, I like the idea of 42sday, and will definitely participate on some weeks. 42 is very near the top of my absolute favorites, both in soap and aftershave form — and now there’s the EdT, as well.

Well, since I inadvertently joined in, why not? I had almost forgotten how much enjoy the 42 scent, and seeing the bottom of the container may give me added incentive to use it on Tuesdays until it's gone!

The scent may not be for everyone (which scents ever are?), but I find it completely intoxicating. If I could bathe in it, I would.

The amount of shaves you get from the remainder of the older jar may yet surprise you. Sometimes I’m amazed at how far just some small samples will endure.
