I'm wondering what your favorite or "go to" blades are? DE, SE, etc.

My absolute favorite double edge blade is the Rapira Platinum Lux. It was a random blade i tried and it performed amazing. 6+ three pass shaves per blade minimum. That is one blade I tend to go back to if I try a blade that tears me up.

As for artist club blades, Feather Professionals and the GEM PTFE for single edge blades.

Do you have any plans to sell anything other than blades in the future?

Jason, while I have not ordered from your site (yet), I have referred a few newbies to it so they can get some samplers. I want to let you know they told me it was super easy to order from your site and they were pleased with your service. I have to agree, your site is laid out so well and it's very easy to navigate and find the right items. Also, it's fast! Good work on coding it so well.

Do you have a picture of your stock area of blades? I bet it would be interesting to see. If you want to, of course.

Actually, I have a site that is loosely attached to the blade site and it is called Midwest Shave Shop. If I can offer larger packs of blades (50/100 count packs), I have a link that goes to that site to the item. I offer some razors there as well as some samplers. Ultimately, I would like to spend more time fleshing out the site and widening the selection, but I don't have the time at the moment.

However, the blade site serves it purpose for what it is and I don't want to muddy up the site by offering other things.

Thank you for telling people about my site! I do keep a few things close to the vest and the filling area is one of them. I will say that there are lots of small parts bins. Wink

what's your profession, if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks giving me the opportunity talk about my business/obsession!

I am a geek at heart, so LEGO's are on the list. My boys are 9 and 11 and we like to build together. I am a husky chap, but that doesn't stop me from doing mud runs and 10mi walks. We started playing foot golf this year. It's like golf, played on a golf course, and the hole is the width of two soccer balls. Also, we frisbee golf. Basically, any kind of golf that doesn't involve clubs and a small ball. My real golf game is a joke.

I am a Senior Web Developer by day. I code primarily in PHP/Laravel, which is what the blade site is created with.

Cool! I play disc golf too, not as much as I used to though. I would like to try the foot golf. It sounds like fun!

I would also like to say thanks for the service you provide. I think its crucial for n00bs trying to find a good blade for them.

My question is pretty simple. What are your favorite soaps and aftershaves?

I had a bunch of interviews last week and I got a chance to use some of my favorites. For soaps, Mickey Lee Soapworks - Drunken Goat, Chiseled Face - Cedar and Spice, Wholly Kaw - Bouquet Fougere, and Barrister and Mann - Leviathan. For aftershaves, I really dig Mr. Kaw's Fougere aftershave as well as Mr. Fine's Fresh Vetiver.

Hey Jason, ordered blades from you over the holidays, you substituted some of my blades, no notice, no response to my emails, is this the way you run your business? I guess it doesn't matter to you, you already have my money.
