Titanium Razor

Haricut and Shave Co. makes amazing Titanium razors. The Titanium 1.30 might be my absolute favorite razor now. Amazing efficiency while still being extremely smooth.

Anyone have experience with the Yates Merica Ti?

I have a customer that swears by that razor. I haven’t tried it myself but for me I’d be on the next release of the Paradigm Ti as I loved the SS as it was very smooth and nicely efficient and from what I’m hearing about the new Ti it’s even smoother so I have one on the way.

I’ve shaved with and owned or own both BB Ti and the Timeless.95 SB Ti polished and both are very good razors. The BB has more blade feel but it’s still easy to shave with and the Timeless is a breeze. Only negative is I had the normal head and getting under the nose was a bit challenging but all you so is lift it or push to the side and problem solved.

I had to go and do a check because I don't recall ever having seen their titanium stuff on the scratch and dent page before. This is either something new or I just completely missed it. But if you're interested, I wouldn't hesitate. I have purchased from their scratch and dent and I couldn't tell the difference from new.

Titanium is an expensive metal, and it's difficult to work with, very hard on the equipment. I get the budgetary constraints, but you honestly aren't going to find much for under $200 unless you go with Ali Express and one of the Chinese clones. Even the used market rarely sees a Titanium razor for less than $200.

I could imagine the Aylsworth Drakkant in Ti would be a smooth and efficient shaver with the "+" plate. Love mine in SS.

This gentleman sells Blackland Ti and Nodachi Ti razors, which match your definition of aggressiveness. He offers them at a very reasonable price.

Timeless Ti!!

Truly an excellent razor.  You might be able to find one on BST for around your price point.  I did.  My Timeless is a plain Jane SB matte finish--no bells or whistles i.e. no scallop, OC, polishing etc.  I love it.  The basic matte Ti finish with no add-ons is simple and elegant.  I started with a .68 and later added a .95 baseplate along with a Crown handle.  The basic handle is sufficient.

Another vote for the Yates 921. I use the EH plate every other day. It's amazing how smooth and comfortable it is given the efficiency. I think the EH plate could be used for daily shaving, but the H plate might be a safer bet.

A couple others to consider:
  - Timeless Ti Slim - Timeless calls it AGGRESSIVE (in all caps), but I don't find it to be that way 
  - H&S Co. Ti Efficient - This is an autopilot razor with good efficiency for me. There's a DFS passaround thread with a lot of great reviews.

H&S Ti Efficient is a superb shaver and one I really enjoy when it comes up in my rotation.  This is a custom made product and is priced accordingly.

Yep.  Pricey stuff.

For this reason alone, you will not likely go for the Paradigm Ti, perhaps the best shaver mentioned.  No matter, shop around and you will get what you need.

If you go through Timeless scratch and dent section and choose the solid bar base plate and no stand, you're looking at about $185. If you go with the scalloped plate, you're looking at $200 even. Honestly, even at $230 for a new one, it's a good deal as titanium is expensive and I think these are some of the better deals in titanium. As I'm posting this, the spiral handle is the only option, although this photo shows the crown handle.
