Timepieces.

Going with the Edifice today. This guy is solar powered and linked to my phone so it always displays the correct time. Another neat little feature is that with a push of a button the watch will locate my phone.

Going with my vintage Omega today.

I just paid for a custom watch I have commissioned from Artifice Horoworks. It will take a month or two to be completed but I'm still excited nonetheless. I can't wait to share it here.

For the next week I'll be wearing a Luminox 1893. And yes, I have now changed the date...

Went old school this past week. Have had this watch a long while, keeps great time but doesn't see much wrist time.

Okay, folks, you keep showing these unbelievable timepieces but almost invariably I wear cheap and cheerful.  Not only am I retired but I can, on occasion, be hard on wristwatches.  Besides, cheap and cheerful can sometimes be ridiculous fun.  Note my watch du jour, a bright yellow because I happen to be wearing a yellow polo shirt.  If you look on the lower left, you can see the socks I'm wearing, given to me as a gift by a member here (MsBlackwolf); she just knew I'd wear them.  The black spotches on the socks are actually resting cats.

For the coming week it's an Orient Open Heart with a Patek Philippe band.
