Well, absolutely. Butterfat helps to mask (mellows) taste since it coats the tastebuds, and milk contains lactose which is a sugar.

I used to like Tim's coffee, but about 10-15 years ago they turned it into diluted dishwater. Their dark roast version (no cream, no sweetener) is somewhat endurable though.

About Keurig: We used one for a couple of years but we never bought pre-packaged k-cups. We only used the Solofill reusable cups with whatever blend we wanted. It usually gave us a stronger brew and you end up paying 1/3 the price of coffee in k-kups.
