I shaved today with my most aggressive razor, a Wolfman WR1 .94OC SS.  I finished my first pass and then was distracted.  Instead of doing my normal two passes I mistakenly did one pass, then I emptied my scuttle, cleaned and dried my brush, and put away my soap.  Finally I realized I needed another pass.  That's when I lost my mind.  I continued on to my second pass with the same Wolfman, but instead of Trumper's Spanish Leather Skin Food (used as a pre-shave), Boellis Shave Soap whipped up in a large Georgetown scuttle applied with a Thater Badger Brush I opted for Edge Sensitive Skin Shave Cream hurriedly applied with my hand.  I haven't used Edge in years and it was in the back of my cabinet.  It was touch and go and I was considering dialing 911.  My skin is a tad sensitive at the moment.  While I fantasize about being a Navy SeAL, I am not.

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space.

That's a good story, makes us appreciate the nice protective soaps we use.
I've had those times, ( just use Cremo it'll work) not that great though.

I took for granted (until today) the necessity of proper shaving preparation in order to avoid catastrophe.

Canned cream is really hard to accept now.  The country mile gap WR1 is ridiculous for me, I would be in such bad shape.  0,54 was the one for me.

What a nightmare. I'm wondering why you had a can of Edge on your shelf. Is there something you are not telling us?

Canned goop actually is best for body shaving. Prefer Skintimate though
