Have a great weekend, all!

Will, after not finding the bucking bronco quite to my taste and promptly being properly chastised by wet shavers obviously much wiser than I (Winking), looking at your new designs yesterday and again this morning, all I can say is that I love these.  I have always loved maps and using topographical maps in the shape of wild animals is brilliant while still maintaining the simple beauty of the white labels.

I do have two questions though?  What determined which animal went with which soap?  Also, will you extend this packaging to include other animals?  I would love to see one with a big cat such as a tiger or lion.

Again, for me at least, just like your soaps, you hit this packaging right out of the ballpark. Happy2

Thanks for the details Will, I knew that nothing about the packaging would be random - I think that you have award winning packaging design there. Well done.
Mark

Thanks for the B&M review, NeoXerxes. The $20-30 range is as luxury as I get. Like Freddy said, I'll take a good soap with a plain tub and label and keep the the cash from the luxury container in my pocket. I don't decorate with shave gear, anyway.

Oh, and Barrister_N_Mann, will the packaging reboot come with a price increase? I'm hoping you go ahead with the run of Petrichor you said you were considering.

I forgot to ask - Will you be releasing T-Shirts with the new design images like you've done for some of your other soaps, specifically Hallows? I frighten people at the gym with the skull shirtSmile

Probably not, at least for the time being.

Has anyone tried the new Penhaligon's soaps, particularly Sartorial? I've been interested in the soap base for awhile (and I know that Sartorial has ONLY been produced in that base), but am curious as to whether Blenheim Bouquet has been changed over yet.

Do you think it's really as close to Tabac as has been claimed?

The slickness appears to be close to Tabac, but the scent is not even close. The scent, to me, is more like their American AS.

Yeah, I meant the base, not the scent. I know the scent is supposed to be American Blend. Smile

Oops!  The slickness is pretty close, if not the same. The post shave, not as good as Tabac. Tabac has an edge on it, of course, IMO.

I don't want to circumvent Will's response, but my impression was each animal fits with the country/region associated with each soap: Spanish bull, Caribbean toucan, Russian bear, British stag (?), etc.

Honestly, David, sometimes I'm not exactly the brightest lightbulb in the chandelier. Rolleyes   And, of course, Will explained the topographical maps, as well.  The whole concept is both brilliant and beautiful.
