I've uploaded another copy, but am reluctant to leave it online permanently. So here it is, for one day: http://cl.ly/fe7D

Have a great weekend, all!

Will, after not finding the bucking bronco quite to my taste and promptly being properly chastised by wet shavers obviously much wiser than I (Winking), looking at your new designs yesterday and again this morning, all I can say is that I love these.  I have always loved maps and using topographical maps in the shape of wild animals is brilliant while still maintaining the simple beauty of the white labels.

I do have two questions though?  What determined which animal went with which soap?  Also, will you extend this packaging to include other animals?  I would love to see one with a big cat such as a tiger or lion.

Again, for me at least, just like your soaps, you hit this packaging right out of the ballpark. Happy2

Now, though I didn't know it 'till just now, I MUST have Cologne Russe and Bay Rum. Smile

Wow, those are beautiful. I absolutely love them. Who is your creative design genius? The images are done in a background of contour maps - are the maps specific to a place for each soap or just generic? I've always considered B&M to be the beast of the shaving world and now your packaging will reflect thatSmile

I got plenty, but I used the new Fine soap this morning and it has skyrocketed on my list. Great soap!

I don't want to circumvent Will's response, but my impression was each animal fits with the country/region associated with each soap: Spanish bull, Caribbean toucan, Russian bear, British stag (?), etc.

I get 3 of the 5 animals (I think). The parrot for Bay Rum is appropriate. The bull for Seville, referring to bull fighting in Spain. And the bear for Cologne Russe is for Russia? Just my guesses. I don't know about the other 2.

For some unknown reason when I look at the new labels I think "Game of Thrones".

1) Each animal is directly associated with the geographic region from which the fragrance hails. Lavanille is an alpine ibex, native to the French Alps. Seville is a bull, a reference to the bull fights and other activities for which Spain is so famous. Cheshire is a red deer, the largest land animal in Britain. Bay Rum is a green parrot, native to the Caribbean (among other places). Cologne Russe is a bear because, really, could it have been anything else? Big Grin

2) Probably not. This is intended to be the core lineup for White Label/Classic (though wait until you see what we did with Latha!). However, if we do end up rounding out the line with a sixth permanent fragrance, a big cat might be a possibility.

The maps are from the different regions with which each fragrance is associated. France for Lavanille, Spain for Seville, Britain for Cheshire, the Caribbean for Bay Rum, and Siberia for Cologne Russe. Smile

Do you think it's really as close to Tabac as has been claimed?
