I finally went ahead and purchased the Ebony T3. I had my eye on it for a bit, and then it disappeared. Once I saw it again, I just jumped on it, so I had it. So now I have a small collection of the emerald, ivory, and the Ebony, a biggest regret was they had some really cool limited on the Simpson website that were on sale for about $25 USD. They had four that I really liked and the shipping was about $25 USD for all four of them, so I was looking at about $125, USD for them. That's quite a bargain. Unfortunately, I just didn't have the cash and missed out and have not seen them anywhere else since. So, the search continues.
In my opinion, these brushes are a fantastic wet shaving value. Especially when you consider the price/performance aspect of it. I would say it's a well kept wet shaving secret, but clearly it's not as so many people own brushes from the Trafalgar series as well as many of the other Simpson brushes, which I'm sure are fantastic as well. These are definitely very popular and with good reason.
