Gentlemen
I'm going to start posting updates for the Smart-Helix group who mfg one of the best SS razors you can buy. I say this because I own one of the LAST razors to make it out of Ukraine before the present situation unfolded. It is an excellent razor and is of the finest build quality. I have to admit I have a distinct and honoured relationship with the manufacturers of this razor. However, I, promise to not promote (shamelessly) the virtues of the company and products, but to also give a glimpse into what is a VERY fluid situation.
My guy is Victor who is a truly good man. Laboring against an unimaginable situation, he still manages to project calm, grace and hope. I this is ok, I will let you know on an irregular basis what's happening. I am Ukrainian by birth/descent etc. I will always try to present and stick up for what I see to be the current situation. I will never ask anyone to do anything for or against this situation.
If you are for this...great. If not...well, that's your opinion. I will now present you with one of Victors latest texts.
"Now for all of us, both for my business partners and for hired workers, the situation in families is not much better than mine. All young women and children from every family have left Ukraine and are in the European Union. My wife and son are also now abroad (14 months already). Honestly, I'll tell you - I've never been in such a painful position as now, single-handedly caring for two elderly and sick parents in a region of the country far from my home. The situation is further complicated by the fact that all the country's medical care is now directed to the needs of the army and civilians can receive service only in extreme critical cases. I was frankly lucky when my father was taken to the hospital ..."
This is just for anyone thinking they've had a bad day. No criticism implied or forwarded. Just what it is.
