Gem stainless steel PTFE (Shave 10)
Thayers Superhazel with Proraso Green Pre/post Followed with Proraso/Osage Rub splash

It's been so hectic it's been hard to get shaves in. Another 3+ day growth shave and another awesome shave. The MMOC is a fantastic razor, it is really working well for me. The Blade is still going strong, LGC is excellent soap. I can;t wait till it becomes part of the permanent lineup next year.

Really great, smooth, slick lather with The Stop Shoppe Austin! The scent is mellow, but very nice. What a shame it's no longer available.

Well, this was a brand new Feather AC Pro blade installed in the AlumiGoose and WOW! Now this is one sharp blade! I am now very much convinced that the blade in the ATT SE1 for my last shave was WAY past its prime.

Just curious how many shaves did you have on it?

I don't shave every day either. Today was shave #23 on the blade in the ER '24. It's no where near "prime" but as long as I continue to get my BBS shave with no irritation I continue to use a blade. Once the blade doesn't give me what I want in my 2 1/3 pass shave I change it.

Honestly, Scott, I don't have any idea how many shaves I had on that blade. I quit keeping track. I kind of got sick of some folks telling me I was wasting SO much money pitching blades too early or others telling me I'm ridiculous for pushing a blade too far....I couldn't win and decided I really didn't care much about how many shaves I got out of each blade. Once I have 2 sub-par shaves with the same blade and I don't think there's any other reason for it, I pitch the blade. I also don't have a problem with people keeping track of their own blades either. I'm not knocking it, it's just not something I do anymore.

I bounce around too much with software and hardware to give each blade its best chance, too. So, I just don't keep track.
