I didn't really get it because it is an SE razor, I got it because it is a well machined stainless steal razor for much less than $50. At that point as long as it shaves well I don't care

Exactly, and I think that was the appeal for a lot of people. $25 for a SS razor is a steal. Anyway, here is that pic of the Shovelhead on a Maggard MR5 that you wanted to see:

They looks awesome! Did you have a screw laying around? Because for that razor the handle had the male end correct?

Yes, all you need is a set screw. I don't know the correct thread pitch though. I would suggest you take your razor to the hardware store and the one that fits. The one I have happened to come with a Damaskeene that I bought from a member here. It had a Toro Mastiff handle attached to it with the set screw. I think it's well worth it to be able to use any modern handle with a vintage GEM head. Of course this will only work with the various 1912s, etc. and not with the Micromatics or Featherweights.

Razor: Bunny V3 (round 8), fresh Chick blade, and no comb (SEvette style)
Brush: Shave Revolution Synthetic
Lather: TSD London Type
Post: Proraso Green
Haven't been posting my shaves lately, just been enjoying the time with the Bunny. Now that I have everything for the most part figured out, the shaves have been consistent.
I tried it without a comb, and had a great shave. I can't really tell any difference between the combs, or even between the mild comb and no comb. I think that with this razor most efficient shave angle keeps the comb completely off your face. I only see the combs helping in case you increase the angle too much.

The shave angle for the bunny has become much more natural to me after my ~9 shaves with it. Where as before it did feel a little awkward, but I actually quite like it now because the angle makes it easier to shave with light pressure and makes for easy going ATG passes on the upper lip and other tighter areas.

Here are my pros and cons
Pros: Just about everything
The look
The shave angle makes it easy to shave with light pressure and getting ATG under the lip
Great quality work by Tom
Very efficient even with the mild comb

Cons:
Only con i can think of is that loading blades is not as smooth as my vintage injectors. Often times the previous blade will just fall down past the stops and out of the spring while loading the new one, and since they are meant to be loaded empty I fear it could potentially damage the new blade. I'm sure this could be resolved. That is the only gripe I have with it after 9 shaves.

Here's a picture for the heck of it

Very nice razor! And that handle looks great. Mongeese sure are good looking tools

Just purchased my first injector razors from Andrew on the BST. Received them today. Wasn't able to find any blades here locally so ordered some of the Schick blades off of Amazon as they seemed to be favored over the Personna blades from my research. Just checked and it looks like they will be arriving tomorrow. Can't wait to try, now I just have to decide which one to use first. Confused2
