maybe we should all start hiding their cartridge refills to force them to use our DE & SE razors?   Big Grin

That's the ticket!

The cool thing is, instead of buying Nother cart, they asked me to order more injector blades!

I've been working on my lady friend, she hasn't changed razors yet but I have her using some hard pucks to lube up the shaving target areas. As I understand it, women lean towards injectors, I may be wrong that's just my perception for reading forums on the topic.

Loving this thread! I've made a few feeble attempts at handing the Mrs a razor and blade, but no luck. She wants nothing to do with wet shaving and is happy with her Schick Hydro 5 carts (which she use to steal from me when i was using them).
So I've given up for the meantime. Maybe ill try again if cart prices go up

I've managed to get my wife to use a synthetic brush and Barrister and Mann Velvet soap, its a bit more of a challenge to get her to try the DE razor though.

My wife love the women's section of Crown & Crane! She is deeply devoted to those products!

Her favorite razor is the Rockwell 6S (level 6 plate).

As a female here, I was very particular on the type of razors that I bought. I still buy them for my daughter, But they only have 2 blades and a particular handle type. It's a tactical feeling kinda thing. But with the DE you can get a closeness that you just can't get with disposable razor. At least that's what I find and because of that I don't have to shave my legs daily when I use a DE. So unless there is a reason why i need freshly shaved legs as a general rule I only shave my legs every couple of days. But then if life gets in the way i might go a few more days between. Horrifying I know.

But i also like to have scent options. I know you guys do as well hence your shave dens. But when you think of it, at least for me. I like having choices, even with my makeup. I can have a dozen bottles of foundation or a half dozen eye shadow palettes or black eyeliners. Or many different bottles of perfume with or without matching lotions and shower gels. I don't need all of that, but i love having them and choices. So i can only encourage you to let your significant other either share in your shave soaps, croaps or creams or else buy them a few in their favorite scents as gifts or just because. the market is flooded with choices just like makeup choices, shoes (heels) or purses. Belts, meh, not my thing.

It's great to take "ME" time but i would be here awhile if i listed my favorite soaps and creams.

But my favorite DE razor was one that a friend gave to me that i met on another forum. He was cleaning out all his DE's and switching to straights. It's a merkur, I can't remember which one exactly the 34C.... but it's the one with the long handle. I use that one 90% of the time, and only pull the others out to be used out of guilt. But, Hey I have a favorite and it also has sentimental value.

I also have a favorite brush as well, and that is one from Tony at penworks. it has a shorter handle and shorter knot as well. To me it just seems to work well for legs. But I also revisited lately the AOS brush I got in their shop in the mall of america a number of years ago. The ladies brush. I hadn't use it for what seems like forever. I can't say i like it enough to buy it again, but i like it enough to keep it.
