I agree with Dave in KY I'm happy to see a replica of one of my 2 favorite adjustable razors coming out but the question is will it shave as good as the original? The Taiga proved to me that it could match the Gibbs in almost every area with some very slight differences. Yes the price of entry for the Taiga around $300 depending on options so if the Heritage can match the Gibbs for less than half the cost of the Taiga then I'm all in. The bonus is it's made in the USA!

In his website, he announced the cost would be $50-$100.

I subscribed to their newsletter. A Gibbs tribute will be very cool and look forward to it becoming available.

I hope they get the head size back down to at or near equal the Gibbs. I look forward to seeing their progress. Thanks for keeping us informed Gus. I used my Gibbs yesterday and it was wonderful. If this razor can match that for $100 that will be something rare and very unique. The aluminum handle on their video looks awesome. I am rooting for them to accomplish this.

If they get it close to the Gibbs in performance, (say 90-95%) it'll be a winner....

If he can make price equal or less than $100, and it shaves like Gibbs and uses regular DE blades,
Definitely will be a winner...

He did an excellent work with vintage replica shaving brush handles, hope to see other replicas for more vintage razors.
Like Walbusch, Le Coq, Bottom Dial etc...

I had the Gibbs Reglable #17, and that odd detail about blade was the only issue.
I tried to find the Palmera 7, but It's very difficult.

I really enjoy this Heritage Collection Shaving project.
This Gibbs Replica (formerly Palmera) is a nice idea.

I edited some pics into collage to have a better idea.

Does anyone know what the head will be made off? Brass? Or Zamac?
