Recently bought this razor on the used market and damn I regret not buying it the moment it was released. It is perfect in my opinion, simply a masterpiece. Nothing but BBS shaves(which I thought was impossible for me) and absolutely no irritation. Simply amazing and I have been using feather pros, I figure it can only get better with supers and prolines.

Received my razor. What a beauty! Love this handle. I know that I had to buy one now before this design is phased out. I've included some comparison pictures with the vector. The head on the V2 is obviously larger, but I anticipate that the added mass is going to be a good thing. I plan on using each exclusively for a week and just keep one of the two. I'll post my thoughts here during this period.

By the way, the finish on both razors is MUCH better than what the photos suggest. My camera picks up way too much detail.

I've used both the General V2 and the Vector back to back a few times now. I loaded a feather pro super since a regular pro is a bit mild on both. I honestly can't choose one over the other. They are both equally smooth and efficient. As anticipated, the General goes through hair a bit easier when going ATG due to its larger mass, but the Vector still feels fine. I'm going to use them back to back a few more times. If anything changes I'll let you guys know. Given that I "only" have 2 AC style safety razors, I plan on keeping both and selling a DE instead.

I have the V1 which I always use with satisfaction. I would like to buy the V2 in SS. Can you tell me when the next release will be?

Our machinist was in production after The Silversmith batch. I expect a May stock date.

Anything new coming?  Maybe a brass, copper or bronze V2?
