This. It would also make it more affordable. The AC style blades seem quite expensive. At least with DE blades there is a nice array of options at all price points.

Its not as expensive as you think. I use Feather DE blades which are more expensive than most DE blades, but They are only good for 5 shaves. A Schick Proline SE will give me 30 shaves, Kia Mild 20, Feather Pro 10.
