The Brit Invasion continues...

I read about this forum on another board and looking at the recent introductions there seems to be a few familiar faces have made their way over here.

I'm Rob and I'm from Prescot, England and figured I'd join up to hear a few more recommendations, get a bit more info on any razors I come across and find some more entries to the already too long wanted list of shaving goodies - I've yet to really bite the bullet on American soaps & creams so a little enabling may be in order.

13/14 was a good season. Not so much 14/15 but March would have been the Newcastle or Kiev game I think so at least you saw a rare win!

And as bad as last season was there has been much, much worse - especially large parts of the 1990's! Big Dunc was one of the few positives along with an FA Cup win during those days!

I will ask though why Everton of all teams?? I'm a lifelong fan from the area but I'd love to know what the appeal is to those of you further away....Tim Howard?

It was Newcastle.  Fun match, especially for my wife who was already a little grumpy from the long train ride from London.  She got really into it!  

I wanted to get more into the premier league, and remembered when Landon Donovan went to Everton on loan. So I dug into the team's history a little bit.  I didn't want to be a bandwagoner, and wanted to follow a middle table team with lots of potential to move up - and the 13/14 season had me really hopeful haha

But I'm pretty sure the 14/15 season's mass flood of fans from America came from Timmy's performance at the World Cup.  He's revered here as hero.  Even I was scared to voice my opinion that Joel was finding a groove and should've played a few more games this season when Timmy returned from injury.
