Just got a pre order email that the new Masamune , Nodachi and Muramasa (adjustable) titanium razors are ready for pre order. The Masamune and Nodachi will ship mid June and the Muramasa in July

Price for Masamune and Nodachi will be about $320 shipped express included. A stand is another $65
Price for the Muramasa includes free stand is $748 shipped express included.

The Masamune and Nodachi seemed to be priced reasonable since it includes express shipping but the Muramasa price is very expensive.

One other note although its pre order they are not billing until the razor ships which is really good news

I'm waiting to see the reviews.

I wish they would do a larger gap adjustable. If the highest setting is basically like the Nodachi or slightly more efficient it’s not worth the price in SS or Ti.

I'm not a fan of adjustables so my question is only academic ... Is the higher price due to a premium finish, or the design features ?

Neither it seems, just a different metal. All else is the same.

I wonder if Tatara expects to move a lot of these? A couple weeks ago they said the Masamune would have the lowest quantity at preorder, numbering only 20.
