We've made some changes to our shipping that I'm really excited about!

- All International shipments now ship via DHL Express, and should arrive in a few days. We have had so many problems with packages not arriving, so this will rectify that. This shipping is more expensive than the postal system, but in return you will get your order quickly and with tracking. To help offset the higher costs, we have lowered the free shipping tiers to Europe, and will look at adding one for Asia soon.

- USA orders now have the option of DHL Express, which is fast! 1-2 day. Also, when you qualify for free shipping, your order will ship DHL Express. The USA free shipping threshold had to be raised slightly, but now you will receive your order quickly and with tracking. We were sometimes seeing shipping times of 3 weeks+ to the USA using the postal system, which in my opinion is unacceptable. We were also able to lower our Canada Post / USPS rates for the those who still prefer lower cost of the postal system.

Let me know what you think and if the new rates are working for you. We are flexible and always open to making changes.

As a USA customer, I cannot thank you enough for this!  We are experiencing problems with parcel delivery - problems which are unprecedented in our lifetimes.  We have no shortage of people pointing their fingers one way or another, but to no avail.  So at the end of the day, it looks like it may take us considerable time and experience to make things right again.

Excellent! Thanks for the feedback. With DHL we are seeing most packages being delivered next day to the USA, which is really amazing.

I just came across something new at T & S website, it's called 'Spiced Fougere' and there is no info on the scent profile yet.  It may well  be a special release for the holidays season, something to look forward to!

Thanks Hooman! That's correct. Spiced Fougere will be our winter Limited Edition.

For this scent, we collaborated with Tom from Denatured, which is an open-access perfume lab right here in Winnipeg. Tom is a graduate of the Grasse Institute of Perfumery, so we gave him the challenge of helping us develop a fougere that would be great for winter, using only natural materials - not an easy task. Check out his website here: Denatured Lab

We are excited with how it turned out! We used real tonka bean absolute for a natural coumarin component, which is one of my favourite materials. Spiced Fougere has that fresh green fougere smell that everyone knows and loves, but some spice/amber/woodiness to make it perfect for winter and the holidays. 

It will be available Friday which is also the start of our holiday sale. 20% everything... even Spiced Fougere!

The description of the 'Spiced Fougere' sounds like that elusive, ideal cologne that I have been looking for at high-end department stores here in Toronto but rarely ever found one that would sit well on my skin. I'm happy that this scent profile is being brought to life in our absolute favorite shaving soap base. The fact that this is a collaboration with a professional perfumery makes the wait even harder! I think I will reach for the set and not just the soap.

Thanks for the kind words! The spice component of the scent is made up of allspice, West Indies bay and cardamom.
