Dang it the shipping is 3x as much from them compared to from Canada.

Probably going to have to sit this one out and finances are up in the air, and paying almost double at that shipping rate kills it for me.

Glad you're keeping the Japanese series alive though, hopefully next time.

I know it's not T+S's fault, but the after shipping price for the Morikami set is really prohibitive.

Unfortunately, every scent tried, and have tried a lot, light me up. It really pains to miss out on yet another exciting Japanese scent; particularly as rarely have interest in scented soaps. Good luck wished for all with envy could join the party.

Damn, sorry to hear that. That’s a strange one. We get so few reports of any customers having irritation. Besides 7X, we have received a couple reports about irritation from Maya over the last few years, but that’s it. We actually get quite a few emails from customers with highly sensitive skin who say they like our products because they don’t get any irritation.

Which ones have you tried? Has it happened with any other artisans’ products?

Yes I have heard, sorry guys! Unfortunately there is nothing I can do. SFWS ensured me that they are using the cheapest possible USPS shipping rates to Europe.

Ryan:

Glad you chimed in!  As mentioned, dfoulk praises your soaps which carries great weight having handled virtually every soap available on the market conducting a massive passaround for years prior to starting his own soap company.

Suspect may miss some but here goes:
Boreal - by far least lit up
Himalaya
Madagascar
Maya
Morocco
RainForest
West Coast IPA
West Indies

The only other soap that has ever lit me up, and it was quicker and worse than T&S, was Mitchell’s Wool Fat. Literally had to wash it off with nary a touch of the razor.

As stated, your Japanese themed releases are incredibly appealing as is Sicily but concerned will be money out of hand. Some have suggested may be the scent components contained in the soap but they not experts. My concern it resides in a base ingredient but then not an expert either.

Thoughts?  Possible solutions?  Love Canada and all things Canadian from having lived there - would love to give you some of my business

Yeah David is a real soap wizard! I think he said that he has has tried 600+ soaps.

I'm not really sure, as all of those scents use a variety of different oils at different strengths. It could be something in the soap formula itself that doesn't agree with you. Besides a few customers with Maya, I have never heard anyone having an issue with any of the others you listed.

Reach out to me by email. If you're interested, I will send you an unscented to try to see if the problem is an ingredient in the soap formula.

Cheers

Could you pm your preferred email please?  Although, conducting so many passarounds, more people probably already know my mailing address than not.

As you can see by the list, based on my faith in David’s knowledge and respect for his judgement, did not give up easily. Haha

Awaiting your response

Best
