I received mine on Monday - haven't tried it yet, it smells wonderful

Mine arrived today in Toronto.  Rainforest Two has a very nice natural, fresh vibe to it, I think it would be perfect for summer.  I can't wait to lather it for my mid-week shave!

Probably placed my Rainforest Two order a little later than most, so I’m not expecting it to arrive until next week. However, it’s been great seeing the positive response it has been getting here and elsewhere! Really looking forward to it.

That’s a tough one. We’ve never had any sort of report on any of our soaps going bad, not even from our original line, so there is no obvious way. If it still smells and looks as it should, then it is safe to use.

We have another product coming this week. Our collab with our friends at Karve Shaving Co, Morning Coffee in the Canadian Wilderness, was supposed to go on sale at The Big Shave Southwest. Since that is cancelled, Karve will be selling it on their website on Friday, going live at 2 PM EST. It will be available only from Karve.

Also to note: there are only ~100 sets, which makes this a very limited release - the smallest release we’ve done. Because of this, it will probably sell out really quickly, so if you are interested in purchasing, I would suggest doing so right at the drop to ensure you get it.

I’ll post more information about it in the coming days.

Also to note: if there are any wetshavers from Spain in here, all of our shipments to Spain are being returned, as it seems that the postal system is shut down there. We are contacting everyone as they are returned to us.

The scent of this set is quite simple but powerful in its execution. It opens with strong notes of coffee but dries down with the coniferous aroma of the surrounding sub-alpine forest.
Imagine yourself waking up at daybreak, fresh from a great rest in the wilderness, in the tent you pitched the night before.

As you emerge, the sun peeking over the nearby mountain hits you in the face with warmth and the fresh morning air has just the right amount of bite. You are captive…taking in all you can of the majestic vista.

After a few minutes, your focus soon turns to a fresh cup of coffee. The ritual of gathering kindling, building a fire, and brewing fills the air with a wonderful aroma.

Rainforest Two has arrived. I haven’t used it yet. Knowing that Tallow + Steel scents tend to be enhanced when coming in contact with water makes me really look forward to the shaves with this one – the scent of even the dry soap is just phenomenal.  Seriously, stunning work, Ryan!
