When can we expect Boreal in V3?
Ditto the above question and one other.... will Grog ever resurface? As you may know, I'm a lover of bay rum and I've never been disappointed when creative artisans riff on traditional bay rum.
Grog is a great spin on traditional Bay Rum. Made it into the rotation twice last week.
Love to get a tub of 150 soap. Can offer up the coffee/cocoa beauty called Dark in trade.
Also waiting to see an Irish scented soap. Who am I lying to. Just want to see the artwork he uses.

I've now used both of my new soaps, Kyoto and Sicily, and I find the lather builds a little faster and it's also slightly more slick than the formula it replaces. I didn't want to write anything until I had used both soaps, but I did detect a bit of drying, post-shave, after first use of Kyoto which I've never experienced with V2. Yesterday, I used the Sicily and, again, I noticed the same thing. Please don't misunderstand me. Both formulae are excellent, but on my skin at least, there seems to have been a slight trade-off between lather quality and post-shave in altering the formula. Anyone else with both versions noticed this, or is it just me?

I'm thinking I'm going to have to transfer them all over to V3 sooner rather than later. I don't like having two soap formulas. No ETA yet, but hopefully by the winter.
Mark - you know that the struggle is real with your beloved pimenta racemosa oil brother! (West Indies Bay). It's just almost impossible to get right now, for a variety of reasons. Poor harvests, hurricanes, over-production. We bought a lot in 2017 and still have some, but we need it for West Indies. We will bring back some old scents at some point for an LE.

Interesting David - thanks for sharing. Neither I nor the testers experienced this. It may be that different skin types react differently to different formulas and therefore experience different post-shave. Another possibility is that it could be because of the scent. Kyoto and Sicily are both higher in citrus essential oils than any of our other scents, and citrus oils can be harsher on the skin for some people compared to other essential oils. I'm not sure!
