Sounds like a good decision to go the in house sales only route. I generally prefer to buy artisan direct for that reason anyway, when possible.
Your shipping rates to Europe have always been very good, and that was a huge factor in my going T+S when I first wanted to try an artisan soap.

A big part of buying from an artisan, for me at least, is the personal touch and the sense of supporting someone to freely make something you believe in. This new set up sounds like it will further allow that, so it's something to look forward to!

Can't wait to see the video tomorrow!

Excellent points about the cost of essential oils. For example, in three months the price of a Haitian vetiver I like jumped from $25.00 per 1oz to $42.00!

Couldn't agree more on the notes issue. I know Declaration is dropping the details. I have a wife and coworker that hate patchouli and I rank YRP as a top 3 scent. So, I'll need to read one heckuva description of the scent vibe or wait for reviews and ask. I mean these two are ninjas when it comes to smelling patchouli so buying more soap with that scent doesn't make sense if I can only wear it on the weekends.

I hear you. Now, % doesn't tell the whole story, as some oils are much stronger than others, but it will give a person a pretty good idea about the scent anyway.

Hey Ryan, you rock! This next phase for T+S sounds very cool indeed. I'm really looking forward to seeing (and experiencing) where all this leads.

Yeah it's getting crazy, $400-$500 USD per kg on average.

It's never going to stop me just sell other stuff, buy new stuff, rinse and repeat.

there were scents we’ve made that we simply can’t launch because they are too expensive to sell at wholesale prices.

Oh I think I know one of those experiment scents never to be released. That was gonna be an expensive one.
