It was only the one soap. I remember TR from some years ago and really enjoyed them when they were quite popular. Looking forward to the Dark Lavender. I remember that being a really nice scent and performer.
Well, thank you, and I do hope you really like the soap! I enjoy the performance of Tabula Rasa, and I’ve heard that Dark Lavender is a great scent.

Cardamom too this AM! At this price it's silly not to order at least two. Wink

I recently picked up a tub of the Abraka Barber in a lot but haven't gotten around to using it yet. TR seems like a brand that doesn't come up much (probably because of cost) but those that do seem to like it. I wonder if its the kind of thing that can be found cheaper and more commonly in Germany.

It was one of the first artisan products that received a lot of buzz some years back. There were many threads about the soap in numerous Forums.

It got lost in the shuffle of the artisan growth.

Always had a hard time getting the lather right - it is tricky even using distilled water - but when hit, it was quite good. Doesn't leave the post shave moisture though of some of the better new boutique soaps e.g., Grooming Dept, T&S but may not be as big issue with normal skin as sensitive.

Ordered Dezember and Abraka-Barber from English Shaving Co. Price wasn't that bad at all coming from the UK to Canada. As cheap as getting 2 tubs of soap from a physical store.

Thank you to our friend Matsilainen for the Smallflower deal!

Tabula Rasa goes way back. 2007, 2008 I think I remember? It’s been a couple of years and for that I’m kicking myself!  What a wonderful product. I always loved the consistency of this cream/soap. Just scoop out a dollop and face lather. The inner lid is a nice touch and these croaps seem very fresh.

Yes, it’s GroomingDept’s world right now and I’m just living in it Big Grin . Tabula Rasa might not have quite the lather and post shave of GD but it’s right up there. Face and head shave with the Dark Lavender. Earthy lavender and patchouli combo. Wonderful lather, slickness, post. Unbelievable scent. Missed this one.

Kate (wife) bury me with this scent. Not yet in about 40 years please!

No worries, Max — my pleasure! I hope you enjoy the Cardamom, as well. And by the way — nice picture of the “mousse”. Smile

Enablers! I ordered a cardamom too. Thank you gentlemen all.

I took Russian in college many years ago, my teacher was Ukranian from the old days and she'd put cardamom in her coffee. Good combination.

Cheers, Steve
