Well, if you're giving away a "free" injector razor, I'll take it. Smile

Throughout this entire project, I've done absolutely nothing but give my 100% and act with absolute honesty and transparency.

Clearly, you've had a bad experience with us, and I'm very sorry for that. It has not been my intention.

The last thing I want is to deliver a "dud" razor to somebody who doesn't want it.

If you'd like me to refund your money, just say the word and I'll do it. I'll even send your razor to somebody else in this forum for free. (Anyone out there that wants it, just shout).

I'm truly sorry this has been a nightmare for you.

Thanks,
Patrick

Thanks Patrick. I made the commitment, so I intend to fulfill my part of that commitment.

Shoot I want one and Ill pay for shipping and buy some blades from you, and If I'm happy how it shaves and if I found troublesome with the V1 I will order the 2nd version. Just let me know SP and I would want one to test out as my first SE razor.

Here is the big question, what went wrong if its not a secret? Is it something you miscalculated in your design? did the fabrication shop didn't do proper job fabricating and if only shaving off some areas would fix the problem maybe you can resend the faulty pieces back for additional work don't to them and the fix might not cost you an arm and a leg.

I'm sure there are fabricators here on the forums that they can pitch in and offer some advices and ideas but in order for that to happen you need to share some info regarding the issue if you are willing to do so.

It is what it is, good news is majority of the people don't mind either twisting the injector blade package a bit when they load or just do it manually since a lot of people like to clean the razor after every shave, and even some like the idea that they can just push the button and the blade fells off.

I think as long as there wont be issues with the shaving later down the road such as blade moving, blade stutter etc the small workarounds are not a huge deal, and as long the V2 addresses the issues well that's better + you give an option to people to wait for the V2 and don't accept the V1, I think that's fair from part.

Your a honest men, honesty goes long ways and YES I would love to try some of the V1 razors the people don't want

Patrick, have you tested the injector system using a Chick injector? I'm wondering if the plastic injector is the issue. I only use Chicks, but I've read that others have had issues with the Personna plastic injectors when using a variety of vintage injector razors...

Hey Blagoja - good questions. The problem lies within the baseplates. There was not enough material removed in a very important area (the key slot), and for this reason, the jaws open about a half millimeter too wide (maybe less). It's enough room for a second blade to wedge itself in there. The slot is considerably smaller than the prototypes Iv'e received the past 5 months. Why? I don't know. Our manufacturer has been conveniently hard to get ahold of since delivering the razors. That said, we're currently doing extensive quality checks, and evaluating our options moving forward.

CCity - the Personna injectors are definitely more finicky than the Schicks. However, using the Schicks unfortunately doesn't solve the root cause, mentioned above.

Patrick, my main concern is the security of the blade while shaving with all the plates. Have you tested this area and could you share your evaluation. This is my most important concern.

Thanks!

Hector,

That is an extremely valid concern - and one I've received from others as well. I am doing extensive quality checks on every razor before I ship them out to ensure this is not the case. Here's a video I posted on another forum to demonstrate the security of the blade (PS - it doesn't seem to work on Tapatalk):
