Patrick, SupplyProvisionCo, to tag someone, just put @ in front of a person's user name, without a space. For example, when I tagged you, I used the @ and SupplyProvisionCo, without a space, and you were tagged.

I hope this helps. Smile

Hope it's OK for me to jump in here - I'm the creator of the Single Edge injector razor. (mods, please let me know if I'm breaking any rules here.)

To answer your question, the only official review out on the interwebs is one done by Mark Herro of Sharpologist.com (http://sharpologist.com/2015/08/supply-p...razor.html). He's the main shave guru I worked with to iron out some of the details of the razor design. In short, he loved it. The few things about the design he didn't like have been adjusted (coincidentally, we didn't like them either).

You won't hear of anyone else having tried it yet because we haven't entered production yet. But we will this month! Can't wait to have them out there in the wild. Smile

no issues with posting on the site...I actually like this interaction with vendors/artisans in the community.

if you're looking for more feedback on the razor, I'm sure some of these gents would be more than happy to do a razor pass around!

my only complaint with the original injectors is that they're tough to rinse the hair from. since you can't pull the blade like you do with other SE & DE razors, it can be cumbersome and time consuming trying to rinse the razor clean. does your version of the razor do anything to help with this?

Andrew, thanks for the welcome. We love interacting with folks that are as passionate about safety razors as we are.

We would really love to do a pass around once we get production models in. My first injector was given to me by a kind stranger on a forum. It got me hooked, and the rest is history.

We feel your pain about vintage injectors being difficult to clean. That's one of the main reasons we designed the Single Edge to be extremely easy to disassemble. It's a simple two piece design held together by a thumb screw and spring. Just disassemble by turning the screw and it's ready for cleaning. That's it. In all our testing, we've never had trouble with clogging. Hopefully others will experience the same.

Sounds good, and with a very good price for a modern SE razor!

I wish you success!

A pass around would be a really good idea and I almost suggested it last night. Good thinking Kevin.

According to Patrick and a sneak peak at the latest prototype details a slimmed down razor weighing about 30 grams lighter. The original design and prototype was at around 140 grams. Further the razor is entering it's final tweak before production is ramped up. The razor looks fabulous and I am very excited about the latest developments. All the backers and pre-order customers are going to be very happy. One further note is the razor will accept all standard injector blades which is excellent news.

Thanks much for the update Jerry- I like the direction Supply Provisions is taking.

Brian [ShadowsDad], if they were to do a pass around I vote you first stop- I know that you have a ton of experience with SE razors and would love to get your thoughts.

Thanks, but I would disqualify myself. That's why I tried not to include myself in the pass around. It's also why I don't have other modern SE razors from what I can remember of what I saw on the website. I won't go back to refresh my memory because my virus software warns me against it (I did try).

But despite the software, I got the impression that for me to try the razor would be unfair to the manufacturer. I simply can't remember specifically why. Was it an injector blade? I don't get along with the silence of injectors. That's purely a Brian problem and not a fault with the razor. So I disqualify myself in fairness. I hope you understand.

Placed my pre-order (custom set) this morning. Not that I need another razor, of course, but I really want to check out a modern injector design.

I have been a backer from the get go and I'm very excited about using the final product. I was intrigued by the concept and jump on it right away.
