Thanks to all for the summer soap recommendations.
I've taken some of them.

And I'm set for summer soaps. At least I think so.
  • A&E - St Barts
  • Asylum Shave works - Colonia
  • Grooming Dept - Citric
  • Sir Henry's - Black tie Affair
  • Shannon's Soaps - Ispirone di Lusso
  • WSP - Matterhorn
  • WSP - Fresh Vetiver
  • Zingari Man - The Gatherer
  • Zingari Man - The Navigator
  • Dr Jon's Hydra is en route.
Whew.  And its only 156 days till Christmas.

Let's see 156 days divided by 10 soaps is 15 uses per...if I stick with these until then.
Oh yeah and subtract Sandalwood Sundays when I use AoS Sandalwood.

Well, you get the point.

Not a bad collection of summer soaps.

Now that summer is 1/3 over, it is time to start acquiring your fall soaps.

What?
That’s not enough!
What sort of gauge are you using to determine how many soaps is enough?
That’s a good start, it shows some initiative and a reasonable effort…But you’re going to need more soaps than that!

What about CRSW Citrus Maximus?
What about Ethos Melange D’agrumes?
What about Stirling:
Coconut Lime
Glacial Margaritas in the Arctic
Gin and Tonic
Weekend in Malibu
BOAT DRINKS! You don’t even have Stirling Boat Drinks!

You aren’t done yet, my friend.

I'm pretty sure I've got the cool season soaps in order.  Vetivers, sandalwood, Tobacco Road, Tertius, Marlborough and one of my favorite, Cuir et Epices.

I do get your point -- your summer is going to last for a long time! But.....to add to pile of "summer soaps" there's also Summer Break's Rope Swing which has a great cooling agent and a really summery green scent.

Black Tie Affair.  Interesting name that belies the citrus scent.

I used it this morning on order to have a fresh impression.
I like the way it creates a full-bodied lather.
Good slickness, adequate cushion.
The scent is citrus forward.  Great for a summer soap.  It has a bit of sweetness that reminds me of linden-honeysuckle.  That may not be it, but that's the best I can state.

Where it performs that I really notice is the post-shave feel.

The oils in it really agree with my face.  Moisturizing, smooth.

When the dryness of winter is upon us, a Sir Henry's will definitely be part of my rotation.  In fact, the Luxury Sandalwood has been on my Want List for some time.  Just haven't acquired it - yet.
