I have a collection of over 200 soaps. Currently, about 70 of them are in rotation with others in reserve. Thus, I use a different soap for every shave. I do not pay any attention to whether then particular scent is best suited to the season or the weather. I do have some scents that are considered seasonal, but that does not prevent me from using them off-season if I like the scent. There is no rule that says you cannot use CRSW Glide "Winter" or First Line Shave "A Christmas Shave" in summer.

Hey MaxP , I just saw your BST listing for summer soaps. That's a pretty savvy idea since you are looking for many from varying companies. Good luck!

If you can't get Naid or Black Tie, I just wanted to make sure you knew these vendors are free shipping (M&M is free for all; BlackTie is free at $15+ ... So its free for one soap or more).

Always good to know where you can save a buck (or $8, thanks USPS! Lol).

I just tried 345 Soap Company's Shark Bite. It's a great performing soap with a Pina Colada type smell.

To shave or not to shave, is that really a question?

So I ask:  What is your recommendation for a summer soap? Top tier - as in excellent base.  And, please, no menthol.

Thanks

E&S Rasage. Oasis and O’Vert.

Top tier as you require and as good as anything made today. All EO’s, herbal extracts.

Thanks for the recommendation.  I went to the French site and was ready to buy Oasis but the $40 shipping charge on a $25 soap stopped me.
Too bad as it looks like a soap that I would enjoy

Dang it.  I just ordered one from Stone Field Shaving in Canada and paid Canadian postage.

Thanks for the tip though.  Looks like the Razor Co has a fine selection.  I'll use it in the future

I placed a large order direct from France for family as well and got free shipping. Same when I order from ABC in Milan. The Razor Company is great too and ships quickly.

I personally rank E&S in the same company as T&S, SV and a couple of others just for the base alone. The EO scenting profiles are a bonus.

vtmax  Despite paying for the Canadian postage, I'm really looking forward to using Oasis.
Learning about The Razor Company is going to cost me.  I've added several soaps tp me Want List that I saw on their site.  Big Grin
