This just has to be beyond belief based on my experience with their non-tallow that blows away almost all other tallow and vegan soaps!!

It is incredible the numerous soaps available for us, wet shavers, nowadays.

Cool! Will be interested to see how people rate the performance of this one vs Rain vs the original formula; I was a little surprised when I realized Rain didn't include the triple-butter formula they'd always used, but from the reviews I've seen the mango butter sub seems to still work quite nicely!

I managed to get my hands on some and let me tell you this is top of the mountain, boys!! Fantastic strong lemon scent and just perfect lather. It took more water than their non-tallow version obviously, but simply fantastic super slick results!! This is just as good as B&M Reserve and maybe even a tad better, dare I say. Run, don't walk, to buy this!! At least for me this one just nails it and ticks all the boxes. Wink

And to think that you won't have to watch some vendor's website 24/7 to see when their product is available and pray that your order is quick enough. Rolleyes Wink

I really wish SS would come up with some better scents. I would definitely be more apt to try it. Lemon just does not interest me at all. It's good to hear it's so highly regarded though. I'll wait for a scent that I might enjoy before I pull the trigger.

Me, too. I've got a half dozen SS vegan soaps, all of which perform beautifully. The scents are mild, and not really up my alley, but the Rose & Black Pepper is a wonderful scent (and the Delor de Treget, but that was an LE). I'd buy the Rose & Black Pepper tallow, when it comes out.

The Lavender & Peppermint as well as the White Sage & Lime are great IMO. The Twice Mint is great as well. I guess I don't understand what you guys are looking for in a scent. To me the scent is secondary as I wear AS every day and choose the scent I wish respectively there. As well, I wash my face in the shower after shaving (and before) and 99% of all shave soap scents rinse away with any cleanser. I guess I don't look to a soap's scent to give me some sort of "Nirvana" experience as that's not its primary function. Oh well. YMMV.

I love the almond and vanilla I have and the scent is quite strong. SS is a soap I would consider purchasing again, but I need to use what I have for a little while, clear out/PIF a few things, and sell a few razors. I couldn't get wyze0ne to bite on my ATT calypso (Going on BST for $65) so it's on it's way back to me. Smile

I agree that soap scents should not be long-lasting. But during the shave, I enjoy a nice, strong scent. I always use an aftershave, the stronger-the-scent-the-better, and never expect the soap scent to carry over after I rinse the lather off my face. That's when the AS should take over.

I'm also not a mint fan, so many SS soap scents don't work for me. The White Sage & Lime is one I enjoy (although I would boost the scent). Cola is also a nice scent to my nose. Delor de Treget is my favorite but, of course, that scent comes from Chatillon Lux.

P.S. I should add that Sudsy Soapery is one of my favorite vendors. I've purchased countless bath soaps, balms and deodorants from the good folks at SS. Their deodorant is my go-to deodorant--nice (mild) scents that perform magnificently. I will continue to support them.
